As the flame dances, Gel Candles sparkle and glow with a light that is hypnotic. The bubbles shimmer as the entire candle gives off an entrancing light. Truly unique, Gel Candles are beautiful to watch. 

For over ten years we have been making gel candles using a patented mineral oil-based product. Our gel candles are very long lasting, burn rates vary slightly but generally range from 6 to 8 hours per ounce of gel.  That’s actually more than twice as long as a standard wax candle. In our experience gel candles also actually burn somewhat cleaner than wax candles and because they are contained in glassware you don’t have the messy wax drippings to deal with either.

We produce a wide variety of gel candles – seasonal stylings, drinks, seascapes, votives and traditional decorative styles. Many of our more popular styles are pictured here, others are available upon request.

There are four significant concerns in purchasing Gel Candles that are safe to burn. You can be sure that we take these concerns very seriously.

·    We use no ornamental or decorative embeds in the gel that are combustible.

·    All fragrances used in our candles are “Gel Safe”. Scents used for paraffin candles have a lower flashpoint and are not safe in Gel Candles.

·    Wicks used in Gel Candles need to be slightly different than those used in Wax Candles. They need to prevent the candle from burning all the way to the bottom of the candle. We use wicks with high collar metal tabs to ensure safety.

·    Our candles are lead-free. Cheap wicks often have lead wire cores as stiffeners, not a wise choice considering today’s concerns over lead poisoning. All wicks used in our candles either have no core or a zinc core.
